At Peninsula Behavioral Health, we believe in treating the whole person

Our team works to support your health.

We recognize that the impact of a psychiatric illness affects multiple aspects of an individual’s life as well as the lives of family members. We strive to help individuals adapt, cope and make changes that will help them to live as fully as possible within our community.

Our team of compassionate professionals is made up of a Psychiatrist, Psychiatric ARNPs, Nurses, Medical Assistants, and Certified Nursing Aides.

How to access the PBH medical department

Being seen by our medical department requires a referral for care. This may come from your primary care provider or internally from a PBH therapist.

If you have questions on whether care in our department would be a good fit for you or would like to become a patient at PBH, please call (360) 457-0431 and ask for the Access Department.

Our approach to care

Our team is here to support you as you work with PBH therapy providers on your treatment plan. We provide education to support your journey, and in some instances our providers will engage in more formalized therapy when necessary.

Our psychiatric providers are all board certified and adhere to best practices in psychiatry. We believe in a holistic and collaborative approach to patient care and work closely with your primary care provider to assure continuity of care.

Full psychiatric assessments

You are the most important part of your health. Our psychiatric team provides compassionate, client-focused assessments for every stage of your life.

What is an access appointment?

Your journey at PBH begins with your screening and access appointment. You will meet with an Access Specialist who will complete a screening form and listen to concerns, ask questions about symptoms and experiences, and offer resources. You will collaboratively determine your needs and discuss available resources.

After your access appointment, you will be matched with a clinician who is well suited to your unique situation. You will also make your next appointment for services.

PBH does not provide medical services for patients without a referral from a PBH therapist or their primary care provider.

Please call during office hours to set up your screening and request an access appointment. If you have a medical emergency, please call 911.

Hope starts here. Call us today to begin. (360) 457-0431
